Stomach muscles can stretch out again, even if permanent suture was used to tighten the muscle layer. Pregnancy has even been reported after abdominal reconstruction operations where part of the muscle has been removed, so there is nothing dangerous for you or the baby. The biggest “risk” to you is just that your tummy will re stretch from the pregnancy. I would definitely keep in close contact with your plastic surgeon and OB throughout the pregnancy to make sure things go smoothly every step of the way.
