Laser Genesis

Genesis is a gentle, but very effective Laser treatment that sets the gold standard for treating redness.

In addition, Genesis also targets excess large pores, uneven skin texture, and fine lines and wrinkles. The best news is that there is minimal discomfort with treatment and only a small amount of temporary redness and swelling after the treatment, so there is no real downtime. A series of 3-4 treatments is recommended for the best result, and results from treatment will continue to improve for several months due to collagen production in the skin.

Laser Genesis is a safe, non-invasive skin therapy that uses concentrated laser energy to target red-tone skin discolorations from “rosy” cheeks to rosacea.

Not only does Laser Genesis reduce redness for increasingly even skin tone, it also treats the deeper layers of the skin to stimulate collagen production for an overall rejuvenating effect.

Laser Genesis Before & After
Individual results from procedures cannot be guaranteed, and may vary between patients.

Whether you’re concerned about reducing the appearance of redness or rosacea caused by dilated capillaries or treating fine-line wrinkles, large pores, uneven skin texture or scars, Laser Genesis provides subtle and consistent results after each treatment. Best of all, those improvements continue long after treatment is over.

What should I expect for my Genesis skin resurfacing procedure?

A Laser Genesis treatment for the entire face usually takes less than an hour. We may recommend you prepare with the application of a topical anesthetic 90 minutes before your appointment. During the treatment you’ll feel a gentle warming sensation that most patients enjoy. Immediately following the treatment, the warm feeling continues for about 30 minutes. Many patients report a pleasant mild tingling and a feeling of increased firmness the day after treatment.

How Laser Genesis Works

Laser Genesis uses laser light to target areas of diffuse redness. The laser also penetrates to the deeper layer of the skin to heat the dermis and stimulate new collagen production.

How many Genesis skin resurfacing treatments will I need?

The number of treatments needed depends upon the areas of concern and the amount of redness to be addressed. Generally, four to six sessions spaced three to four weeks apart provide the initial benefits you desire. Subtle improvements continue to accumulate for months after your last treatment. Because the natural aging process continues it is difficult to say precisely how long results will last, but benefits seem apparent for several years after treatment.

Side Effects Of Laser Genesis
