Cellfina

For those who want to improve the appearance of cellulite for up to three years, the Cellfina™ System is the cellulite treatment you’ve been looking for -- and Florida cellulite sufferers can get this treatment at the office of Dana M. Goldberg MD.

Cellfina™ is the only FDA-cleared and minimally invasive cellulite treatment that has been proven in clinical trials to give cellulite in the buttocks and thigh area a smoother look that can last up to 3 years -- the longest duration of any FDA-cleared cellulite treatment on the market.

The dimpling of cellulite is caused by connective bands that appear all through the fat in the thighs and buttocks. The way the Cellfina™ System works is that it is a one-time procedure in which the dimpled areas of cellulite are marked, then a numbing agent is administered to the area, after which the CellfinaTM device is used to sever these bands of connective tissue that cause the unattractive dimpling.

The process only takes about an hour, and most patients are able to resume their normal activities the same day as their CellfinaTM treatment. Even better, with the connective bands severed, the skin that has been treated with CellfinaTM quickly bounces back and smoothes itself out. Patients can see results in as short a time as three days, and those results can last for three years or more.

If you refuse to wear a bathing suit or higher hemlines because of cellulite, you owe it to yourself to try the FDA-cleared Florida cellulite treatment that can improve the appearance of cellulite for three years. Call our office today to set up a consultation and see if the CellfinaTM System is right for you!

Individual results from procedures cannot be guaranteed, and may vary between patients.

Results can be seen in as little as three days. In the pivotal study, patient satisfaction was 85 percent at three months, 94 percent at one year and 96 percent at two years, surpassing the patient satisfaction rates of other leading cellulite treatments.

Cellfina™ does not involve an operating room or general anesthesia. It relies on a minimally invasive, small needle-sized device to treat the cellulite-causing bands just beneath the surface of the skin.

No serious adverse events were associated with Cellfina™ in the pivotal study. The most common side effects reported by patients in the FDA‑cleared pivotal study were soreness, tenderness and bruising. Just three days after treatment, patients rated their pain as minimal (2.7 on a scale of 0 to 10; 0=no pain, 10=extreme pain) and most (82 percent) felt pain only with touch or pressure to the area treated. This minimal pain improved quickly with time. More than 90 percent of patients had no bruising at four weeks.

In just one 45-minute treatment, Cellfina™, significantly improves the appearance of cellulite on the buttocks and thighs.

There is limited downtime associated with Cellfina™. Some patients experience initial soreness and tenderness, but these side effects resolve quickly with time.
